The heart Center at the Faculty of Nursing held awareness activities about how to quickly deal with CPR in simple ways for all groups in society. The activities took place in three locations: the first in Nablus Municipality Mall; the second in the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences; the third place at Latin School in Al-Zababdeh, this event aims to education CPR in the society.
Arab American University celebrated the 51st anniversary of Al-Karama Battle by organizing a political seminar in cooperation with the Ministry of Information. It hosted the Revolutionary Council of Fatah, Major General Abdel Ellah AL-Atira who participted in the battle, and the representative of the Ministry of Information Abd Al-Basset Khalaf, the Dean of Arts Dr. Marwan Abu Al-Rub, the Head of General Culture Dept. at the Faculty of Arts Dr. Jamal Hanisha, and students of the University.
The seminar was opened by the Dean of Faculty of Arts Dr. Abu Al-Rub where he welcomed the attendees and assured to the importance of this seminar, which talks about the battle that returned the dignity of all Arabs, as he welcomed the Major General Abdel Ellah AL-Atira who participated in the battle and was hosted to convey the facts of the battle and its psychological and moral results.
The sports hall at the university hosted the female handball championship for Palestinian universities organized by the Palestinian Union for University Sports, with the participation of four universities: AAUP, Al- Khadouri, AL-Najah and Hebron.

Mr. Hassan Nassif, head of the Competitions Committee at the Palestinian Union for University Sports and the supervisor of sports activities at Arab American University, said that this championship is part of the unions activities in the second semester of 2019. That aims to enhance the cooperation among universities in the field of sports.
The Student Affairs and Scientific Research Dept. at the University organized a workshop about "university student researcher competition". Which was launched by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in its second edition. The workshop hosted The Assistant Undersecretary for Higher Education Affairs in the Ministry Dr. Ehab Al-Qabj, and the Director of Scientific Research Dept. at the Ministry Dr. Bassam Al-Hajj. The workshop aims to enhance and encourage AAUP students to participate in the university student researcher competition, and to introduce them with the terms, fields, categories and awards of the competition.
The Office of the Assistant President of the University for Community Affairs, in partnership with the Faculty of Law, and in cooperation with the Palestinian Initiative to Deepen the Global and Democratic Dialogue (MIFTAH), organized a workshop about the draft copy of the Palestinian Constitution to introduce it to the youth and their rights.
The workshop was opened by the Assistant President of the University for Community Affairs Dr. Iyad Delbeh he welcomed the audience and the coordinator of (Miftah) in Jenin Farha Abu Al-Haija, the Attorney Nora Sobh, the interviewer Fathi Al-Natour, faculty members and students from Faculty of Law. As he assured the importance of this workshop, especially that there are courses that studies the Palestinian constitution.
A Delegation from Shakhnin that included medical and health professionals working in the 48 Palestinian territories, visited the university to know more about the university, its Faculties, and facilities. They were welcomed by the two Dean Deputies of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences and Nursing Dr. Mohammad Al-Jamal and Dr. Imad Abu Khedar
The two Dean Deputies of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences and Nursing Dr. Al-Jamal and Abu Khedar gave an introductory presentation about the university, its faculties, facilities and specializations. Noting that the services provided by the two faculties are for students and local community, pointing out that the laboratories and centers in the two faculties are equipped with international scientific techniques. As the graduated students have great achievements at the scientific and professional levels.
The University participated in the UniMed meetings of the Mediterranean Universities Union, as part of the annual meeting held by the Union. The University was represented by VP for Academic Affairs Dr. Zaki Saleh and VP of International Relations Dr. Dalal Erekat.
The meetings lasted for three days and included many various topics, notably the cooperation of universities in the north and south of the Mediterranean to find solutions and draw common policies to guide research and projects to serve the interests of the Mediterranean.
In cooperation with PIPD the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a training workshop about the United Nations Program for Palestinian Universities that targets student universities to teach them diplomatic skills and train them. Also to show them the way and protocol for representing Palestine on international levels, through international laws and human rights conventions, where they were trained by the program director Mrs. Najwan Brikdar.

The Acting President of Arab American University Dr. Nizam Diab welcomed a delegation from Germany, where the delegation visited the university in order to enhance the collaboration with Bielefeld University.
The delegation included representatives of the Bielefeld Middle East Initiative, doctors, academics and parents of students from schools and universities, and the joint coordinator of Al-Zababdeh Municipality Eng. Dawud Shaheen, and PR Manager of Al-Zababdeh Municipality Mr. Rami Deabis.
The Deanship of Student Affairs at Arab American University in cooperation with Mahmoud Darwish Museum organized an open cultural day entitled "Almond Blossoms & Beyond" in the memorial of the poet Mahmoud Darwish.
The events launched with a cultural seminar presented by Dr. Mohammad Dawabshih from Faculty of Arts, he talked about the life of the Poet Darwish and assured the importance of this event, advising the students to read and know more about famous Palestinian figures noting that Darwish is a famous unique figure as he talked about his life stages which made him international.
