Abstract: 
This book is the consummation of the knowledge that was gained during the work on the “Potentials for Sustainable and Equitable Development of Irrigated Agriculture in the West Bank” project. The book comprises three parts: the first deals with water resources and consists of five chapters on hydrogeopolitics, topography and climate, as well as on water availability and quality constraints. The second part presents the status of irrigated agriculture and consists of three chapters on irrigated areas and production of crops, socioeconomics, and impacts of irrigation activities on public health and environment. Finally, the third part concerns irrigation management and planning and consists of two chapters: crop water requirements, irrigation requirements and water use efficiency.
