Arab American University Faculty of Arts hosted the Chairman of Palestinian Prisoner's Club Qadura Faris in a lecture he gave on prisoners’ conditions and stability for the prisoner movement course students.
Faculty of Arts Dean Prof. Dr. Mohammad Dawabsheh started the lecture, introducing Faris’s life path in defending prisoners’ issues and expose the occupation practices against them.
At first, Faris praised the Arab American University, stressing it confirmed the Palestinian ability to build homeland for all and create bright future for people who sacrificed for decades. He spoke about the university's experience importance and spread its build and model determination homeland institutions.
In cooperation with the Italian Development Cooperation
Faculty of Law organizes a series of specialized training courses for its students on death penalty as part of “Karama” project to enhance and consolidate of human rights, in cooperation with the Italian Development Cooperation.
This project, one year long, comes after signing a MoU between AAUP and the Cooperation targeting Faculty of Law students in order to introduce them to the legal guarantees to imply death penalty in the presence of various Palestinian legal systems.
Accreditation of Prof. Dr. Asia to be coordinator of Arab Nursing programs
AAUP Faculty of Nursing seeks to get accreditation of The Scientific Association of Arab Nursing Colleges to raise both the university and faculty to high regional and international universities level.
Dean of Faculties of Nursing and Allied Medical Sciences Prof. Dr. Mohamed Asia, said he recently started preparing self-evaluation report for the Faculty of Nursing at university to submit it to Scientific Association of Nursing Colleges, then the association supervisors will come for the last check and announce the accreditation.
