Researcher Jihad Reda Kameel, Commercial Law student at AAUJ Faculty of Graduate Studies, defended his Master thesis titled “Arbitrator Civil Liability”.
The researcher addressed the arbitrator civil liability and mistakes made in performing the mission of dispute arbitration towards arbitration government parties and others, in a comparative study between Palestinian arbitration law, Jordan, Egypt and UAE, along with some foreign countries laws.
Researcher Hanan Ahmad Anees, commercial law student at AAUP Faculty of Graduate Studies, defended her master thesis entitled “Legal Regulation of Holding Companies in Palestine”
The researcher the defined holding company in various modern legislation and jurisprudence. Palestinian, Jordanian and Lebanese legislation where compared concerning legal regulation of holding companies.
Researcher Hala Masoud, student at AAUP Faculty of Graduate Studies, defended her thesis in Commercial Law entitled: “Mortgage as Bank Guaranty in Palestinian Legislation”.
In her thesis, researcher discussed mortgage in Palestine as the most important guaranty, stressing that with the rise of housing prices and individuals’ incapability to provide enough money to buy one, banks are providing it, by mortgaging a property the client owns as a guarantee for the bank’s right so that the customer repays the loan.
