A Delegation From the National Commission for Accreditation and Quality Visits the University to See Its Academic and Research Development

The delegation consisted of its President Dr. Waleed Sweileh, the Head of the Program Accreditation Department Mrs. Nisreen Al-Khafash and Eng. Iyad Abu Samra, where they were weclomed by the Vice President for Planning and Development Dr. Moaz Sabhah and Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Mahmoud Manasra.

During the meeting, the delegation reviewed the academic programs in bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, and on the path of scientific research and its development through the level of research published in Arab and international journals, in addition to discussing a range of issues of common concern.

Dr. Sabhah talked about the university and its academic and research vision and its continuous efforts in developing its programs and the development of new quality programs to the meets the needs of the Palestinian, Arab and regional markets. He also praised the role of the Commission and its efforts in supporting, and evaluating the programs taught at universities.

He added that the university follows in its teaching process a curricula and systems that encourage students to innovate, distinguish, think and search for information, in order to develop themselves, and to graduate students enhanced with the required skills of the market on global levels.

Dr. Sweileh assured that the goal of the National Commission for Accreditation and Quality is to support higher education institutions and follow-up accreditation and quality procedures in order to implement quality standards that contribute to the development of the educational process in general. He explained that the visit of Arab American University comes in the context of its development
