The Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences in AAUP has participated in an international conference entitled “Educational Technology” that was organized by the International Academy for Management in Florida – USA.
AAUP was represented by both Prof. Aysar Sussan who presented a paper entitled “Challenges Facing e-learning; as an Important Trend in Globalizing Education” and Dr. Sharif AbuKarsh who presented a paper about “The New Era of the Financial Technology in the Banking Sector”.
It’s our great pleasure to inform you that PGSB has launched its 5th call for student thesis projects BSc, MSc and PhD scholarships and faculty exchanges for cooperation projects.
This year, PGSB will also launch an additional call for proposals for research clusters. The purpose of this call is to look toward the future of the cooperation, identifying important topics and creating sustainable cooperation teams on a multilateral level.

AAUP held a workshop for launching "D space" digital repository for scientific research and digital content for its faculty members, researchers, students and interested community members.
AAUP President Assistant for IT Mr. Bahjat Issa opened the workshop assuring the importance of such digital platforms in the university and other Palestinian universities. which will be a milestone for creating a national digital repository that includes all academic and research institutions nationwide. He pointed out that digital repository is a sign of the openness to all societies, and provides access to digital information and data for all beneficiaries of the university, the local community and the world. As a return this serves the process of education and scientific research.
Data Matters Festival organized by AAUP & PCBS with the occasion of the World Statistics Day, on the 20th of October each year, the festival was held at the Culture Palace in Ramallah sponsored by the Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayih.
The Festival was attended by AAUP President Prof. Ali Zaidan Abu Zuhri, PCBS President Dr. Ola Awad, GM of Bank of Palestine Mr. Rushdie Ghalayini, CEO of Paltel Group Mr. Ammar Al-Aker, the International Expert Sander Davstein, along with local and international experts, representatives of governmental, private institutions.
the ending of the first annual graduate school research conference at the university campus – Ramallah, sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Abu Mowais. the conference was organized by Faculty of Graduate Studies, Deanship of Scientific Research with the partnership of Policy and Conflict Resolutions Studies Center at AAUP.
The Conference was opened by Professor John Dogger an expert in technology and professional services management, Prof John has more than 53 papers published in scientific journals, and advisor in excellent scientific research for graduate students, as he mentioned the methods of writing a research problem, especially as most of the research focuses mainly on Statistical analysis and quantitative data.
Through this award, the Arab American University seeks to enhance the quality of scientific research for faculty members and researchers in Palestinian universities, to support genuine scientific research, and to honor researchers for their research and scientific efforts published or accepted for publication in refereed scientific journals. In promoting excellence and creativity, and strengthening its pioneering role as a supporter of scientific research in Palestine.
Arab American University Journal of Research obtained first place in the classification of the Arab impact factor for the year 2018, where it obtained an impact factor of 3.07, which is a great achievement for scientific research in the university in particular and Palestine in general.
The Arab Impact Factor provides a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the quality and reliability of specialized Arabic journals in all fields of knowledge. This impact is a measure of the importance of scientific journals within their field of research.
It also reflects the extent of new research referring to previously published research in the journal and cites it. The Journal of Higher Impact Factor is therefore more important and more reliable in the specialized scientific community.
