The University Concluded Several Workshops that Targeted Faculty Members and Students of the Master's Program on Conflict Resolution and Development

The College of Higher Studies at the Arab American University concluded several workshops targeted a number of faculty members in various disciplines, and students of master's in the program "conflict resolution and development", over three days, in collaboration with the American Institution for Peace (USIP).

The delegation of the American Institution for Peace met the president of the Arab American University Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri where the two sides discussed ways of joint cooperation to emphasize on consolidation of relations with international institutions in various fields.

The first workshop targeted master's students in the program of conflict resolution and development under the title "communication skills and negotiation", while the two workshops, which targeted a number of faculty members was entitled "Development of teaching and research methods."

The Acting Dean of the College of Higher Studies Dr. Mohammed Abu Shirbeh noted that the aim of the workshops is to consolidate of relations and partnerships with the international institutions supportive to education and its development, and to learn about the modern teaching methods and the latest developments they had achieved, and enabling Master's students to gain experiences in the arts of communication and negotiation, and to pave the way before them to obtain advanced certificates in doctoral degrees..

At the end of the workshops, certificates credited by the American Institution for Peace had been distributed to all participants.
