a two-year Master's programme at the Sandberg Instituut Amsterdam committed to design practices in situations of occupation and oppression with a particular focus on Palestine, starting September 2020. The program derives from a long-term collaboration between the Design Department at Sandberg and DDFP, the design label (more info click here ). The programme will explore how design can be a vehicle for political resistance and solidarity and explore how design practices can resist oppression and inform strategies to set up sustainable positions and alternative education models in Palestine and elsewhere.
We're excited to announce that the program is finally open for registration! We are aiming to secure scholarships for six Palestinian students to join the course, but applicants are also advised to look for external sources of funding while applying. You can visit the programme's page here for more information.
