This program enables student dentists to develop the skills needed to practice oral implantology through course work, tutorials, seminars, practical classes, clinical sessions , research and report writing. It will also help to build upon the knowledge and skills obtained during undergraduate education and training. In addition, the program will give student dentists an understanding of the scientific basis of oral implantology with particular emphasis on current trends in the diagnosis, treatment planning and clinical management of patients. They will also be trained to provide high quality dental care for patients with malocclusion and for medically compromised patients.
