The Arab American University organized the chess championship for the Palestinian universities where it hosted the teams for the third year. The university’s team got the second place while Birzeit University got the first place at the championship.
The championship comes as part of the activities of the athletic union for the Palestinian universities. 6 teams from 6 universities participate at the championship.
Mr. Oday Daraghmeh- the head of the sports’ activities department at the Arab American University started the championship by appreciating the administration of the university that provided all what needed to success this championship. Also he affirmed that the university is always concerned about the sports’ activities.
