Businessman Sam Bahour’s reception at the university

The Arab American University hosted the Palestinian businessman and writer Mr. Sam Bahour who visited the university to give a lecture about “development under occupation from a Palestinian perspective” for the Msters of Conflict Resolution students.
This lecture is an initiative step from Dr. Dalal Ireqat who gives “the Conflict, Peace and Development” masters course at the university. The lecture aimed to give students the chance to think and analyze in a positive critical way.
Mr. Bahour talked about institutional and economical development. He also asserted on the importance of the economical planning and indicated that the absence of laws and regulations is the reason that the Palestinian economy is still following the Israeli economy.
