Hasan Sbaihat
Hasan Mohammed Hasan Sbaihat is a researcher at the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine, Juelich Research Center (Forschungszentrum Jülich), Germany.
He joined the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the Arab American University in 2010, specializing in medical imaging. He and his project partners went on to win the first place in the PACS-PAl project, which involved archiving radiographs of hospitals in one database through a website in the "New Generation of Technology Pioneers" competition, established by Hassib Sabbagh Information Technology Center of Excellence at the Arab American University in 2012.
Sbaihat subsequently worked as a volunteer at Martyr Dr. Khalil Suleiman Hospital, Jenin. Through this experience he gained skills, most important of which was how to deal with patients. Sbaihat graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia, where he worked on radiation dose measurement of computed tomography scans to ensure the safety of medical staff in Dr. Sardjito General Hospital.
He graduated from the university program in 2016 and then worked for two years as a teacher and supervisor, training students in practicals across various hospitals in the department where he graduated from. Afterwards, he joined the Palestinian German Science Bridge (PGSB) through which he became a researcher at FZJ. At the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine (INM-4), the focus is on the development, experimental verification and clinical implementation of new brain imaging methods.
The Forschungszentrum Jülich is one of Germany’s largest research centers and one of the most important research centers in physics and high-tech research. It also conducts scientific research in the fields of health, energy, environment, as well as informatics research.
My advice for students:
