AAUP Announces the Start of a New Bachelor’s Program in Environmental Sciences and Technology at Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, that is distinguished in connecting environmental issues such as water, soil, food and climate change with modern technological means to stay abreast of the developments in this field, as well as to keep in line with the global trend in the environment and the negative impact of the environment on human health in order to control these effects.
This program enables students and those who wish to enroll in this program to process various environmental tests through the acquisition of knowledge in modern technology that examines food, agricultural, water and environmental pollutants. The graduates will also be able to work in different sectors and institutions such as the Ministries of Environment and Agriculture, Education, Labor, Health and Water Authority. In addition to private and civil institutions that works in food, agriculture and water.
AAUP Announces the Start of a New Bachelors Program in Prosthetics and Orthotics Sciences at Faculty of Allied Medical Science, accredit from both Ministries of Education and Health, in addition to the accreditation of the International Organization for Prosthetics and Orthotics Sciences, to be the first program of its kind in Palestine that aims to graduate professionals titled as Senior Specialist.
This program enables its graduates to diagnose the needs of prostheses and orthotics, and to engineer these organs according to each case, based on the knowledge and understanding of the principles of mechanical motion, human body surgery, engineering technology drawings, the designing electronic robotics and manufacturing them in factories, laboratories and clinics provided by the University in order to train the students, and welcoming patients with upper and lower amputations, patients with musculoskeletal disorders, fractures, bone malformations, paralysis of the central nervous system
Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Arab American University organized a training course about “how to perform a splint” in modern scientific ways, for students from Occupational Therapy, and employees from medical, health and rehabilitation institutions and centers from different places of West Bank.
