Arab American University Library participated in Al-Sharjah International Book Exhibition, which was recently held in Sharjah United Arab Emirates.
The director of the university library, Mr. Hassan Al-Said said that a large number of Arab and international publishing houses participated in the exhibition as it meets the needs of researchers of general and specialized knowledge. He pointed out that the participation of the university library was effective at the exhibition. Where many books were purchased in Arabic specialized in public relations, law, sports, education, Arabic language and media, where these books and resources serve university students in the bachelor's and master's degrees.
Arab American University hosted the event of the 5th Bible Day entitled: We Get Up & Build”, organized by the Bible Society in Palestine, in the presence of the Governor of Jenin, Ibrahim Ramadan, the General Director of the Bible Society, Nashat Filmoun, and the spokesman of the Jerusalem Orthodox Patriarchate Father Issa Mosleh, And the representative of the Arab American University, Professor Uday Darghmeh.
During the event, the participants emphasized the unity of the Palestinian people Muslims and Christians, their steadfastness on the land of Palestine, their defense of Islamic and Christian sanctities, their rejection of Israeli racist policies and the Judaization of Jerusalem.
The Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center in Arab American University - Ramallah - hosted a book signing ceremony entitled “The Anxious Intellectual Vs the Confident Intellectual” by the writer and academic Dr. Khaled Al-Hroub, the book was recently published by the Dar Al-Ahlia in Amman, Jordan, and contains 310 pages.
The book was launched in the attendance of the author, Dr. Khaled Al-Hroub, Chairman of Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center at the University,
Dr. Ayman Yousef, literary critic Dr. Ibrahim Abu Hashhash, Manager Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies Center Mrs. Rola Shahwan, members of the academic Staff, students from various master programs, a number of writers and intellectuals, and representatives of institutions interested in the culture.
