Cooperation

The university president welcomed the guest delegation and expressed the importance of cooperation with Galilee Society, which will combine the university with the Arab research institutions and centers in the 48 Palestinian Territories, assuring that the university's interest in communicating with all segments of the society in the 48 Palestinian Territories. In the ceremony that took place in Jenin, Palestine, on the 24th April, the University of Exeter team were represented by Professor Peter Turnpenny, Professor Andrew Crosby and Dr Emma Baple. From the AAUP, Professor Ali Zeidan, Dr Dalal Iriqat, Dr Reham Nazzal, and Dr Nouar Qutob. 

The Exeter team expressed their excitement for this collaborative Initiative to improve health care for patients, families and communities affected by rare disease through translational genomic medical research, student exchange and training between the two institutions.

According to this memorandum, Arab American University will accept students who wish to study Medical Doctor ( MD ) at the beginning of the academic year 2019/2020, according to the admission requirements of the University of Jordan. The students will study the pre-clinical courses for one year at Arab American University, then the student will study the second year at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Jordan within the international program to obtain a doctorate in human medicine from the University of Jordan.
