The President of Arab American University, Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, honored the students from the Faculty of Sport Science whom represented the Palestinian national football team in a number of international, continental and regional championships.
The ceremony was attended by the vice presidents of the university, the Dean of Student Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Sport Sciences, the student Khalid Azzam was honored who is the goalie of the Palestine football team who participated in the Asian Cup qualifiers and World Cup qualifiers, and the student Saja Ibrahim was also honored a player in the Olympic Palestinian team, which will participate with the Palestine team qualifiers for the next Olympics in Tokyo, and the student Ali Adawi the first place player in the Palestine team and Olympics, who participated in the Asian Club Cha
The university hosted the second week of First Degree League in Football organized by the Palestinian Football Association, which was held at the university’s international stadium of Football, two games in two days in row between Dura team and Tubas team which ended with the winning of Tubas team three goals against one goal, and Al-Khader team and Jenin team with the winning of Jenin team two goals Against one goal.
