Part of the championship

The sports hall at the university hosted the female handball championship for Palestinian universities organized by the Palestinian Union for University Sports, with the participation of four universities: AAUP, Al- Khadouri, AL-Najah and Hebron.

AAUP team won the female handball championship where it took first place. Second place Al-Najah team, third place Hebron university team

Mr. Hassan Nassif, head of the Competitions Committee at the Palestinian Union for University Sports and the supervisor of sports activities at Arab American University, said that this championship is part of the unions activities in the second semester of 2019. That aims to enhance the cooperation among universities in the field of sports.

Arab American University hosted the Ministry of Education Championship for Handball in its sports hall, where Eight education directorates participated from the northern West Bank.

This championships, is a part of the plan of the General Administration of Student Activities in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education sponsored by Minister Dr. Sabri Sidem, this championship came with many other championships organized in the south of West Bank, with eight teams participating from ages born in the 2002, 2003 and 2004 competitions.

The Director of Sports Facilities at Arab American University Mr. Udi Dragameh attended the championship and the Head of Sports Activity at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Mr. Aref Asira.

Part of the championship

The University hosted in its sports hall the national championship for kids in Kung Fu, organized by the Palestinian Kung Fu Association under the slogan of “Protectors of Al-Khan Al-Ahmar & Northern Valley” sponsored by the Palestinian Olympic Committee.

The match started with the entry of 16 judges and 13 teams from all around West Bank, then sang the national anthem and read Al-Fateha on the memory of the souls of the martyrs  then said the championship oath and judges oath.
