The Bridging Program (BP) at the Arab American University is multilateral. The purpose of this program is to give holders of a two-year college degree the opportunity to continue their undergraduate (Bachelor) studies to broaden the prospects of their career. The following are the admission criteria for the BP:
First: All Bachelor Programs Except Engineering
- Target Bachelor program must be in line with previous degree.
- A two-year college degree with a GPA of at least 60%.
- A "Fair" standing (60%) in the Comprehensive Exam.
- Meet at least one of these conditions:
- An experience certificate for at least one year after achieving the diploma certificate.
- If there is no experience, the applicant must take courses from the Arab American University as prerequisite for the major required. The applicant must achieve a minimum score of 70% in all prerequisite courses.
Second: Engineering Programs
- Target Bachelor program must be in line with previous degree.
- A two-year college degree with a GPA of at least 75%.
- A "Very Good" standing (80%) in the Comprehensive Exam.
- Meet at least one of these conditions:
- An experience certificate for at least one year after achieving the diploma certificate.
- If there is no experience, the applicant must take courses from the Arab American University as prerequisite for the major required. The applicant must achieve a minimum score of 70% in all prerequisite courses.
Bridging Program is available for all majors in the university except for Dentistry Majors. The accreditation of the courses in the BP is according to the university rules and the study plan of the required major.
Note: The instructions will apply on students registered in diploma programs from the second semester of the academic year 2016 - 2017.
