Arab American University Organizes a Workshop About "Free-lance Internet"

The Department of Alumni Affairs and the Deanship of Student Affairs held a workshop about free-lance jobs through the Internet. The workshop which was attended by university students and graduates presented a number of trainers who were recently trained to work free-lance through the internet under the supervision of coach Hassan Omar.

At the beginning of the workshop Hassan Omar spoke about importance of remote working using modern technology, noting the unemployment crisis facing graduates in the labor market and the challenge to prove themselves and to gain jobs in this limited market.

The head of the Department of Alumni Affairs welcomed the attendees, and assured that the university always seeks to open up different horizons for its graduates, reflecting the chances of entering the labor market armed with the largest possible experiences, required skill which requires students to make great efforts to cope with the rapid development in the market.

After that the trainers Osama Al-Sadi, Fadi Souqieh, Mahmoud Abu Farha, Mahmoud Mahameed and Raed Al-Jamal presented their topics and reviewed the opportunities offered by the field of self-employment for youth employment through inspiring success stories in this field. The online business is a promising market for students and graduates alike.

The speakers also pointed out the most important platforms and how to network with them. They offered many practical successful tips in this field, assuring the importance of constantly developing their skills to suit the requirements of this changing market. Also the importance of learning how to write responses for jobs requests and the formulation of free-lance to meet the customer need directly and fast responses.
