Palestine Education for Employment (PEFE), established in 2009, is a locally registered organization in Ramallah, and an affiliate of Education for Employment (EFE Global- US), EFE Europe and a number of other NGOs working in various Arab countries. The PEFE network shares a common vision of empowering unemployed university and college graduates by providing them with the skills and opportunities they need to build careers that ensure a brighter future for them.
The projects coordinator will provide programmatic and administrative support for PEFE Programs in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. The projects coordinator will work with a network of local partners and stakeholders on issues concerning youth training, employability, entrepreneurship, capacity building, and economic development.
Jobs Responsibilities
-Contribute in establishing and maintaining relationships with different stakeholders, including participants and partners from the private and public sectors, vendors, and donors.
-Follow projects work plans, and ensure that planned activities are conducted on-time, within scope and within budget.
-Assist in recruiting participants by acting as a youth mobilizer in identified locations.
-Assist in monitor trainings and projects’ activities and provide all support needed.
-Collect monitoring and evaluation data and maintain relevant projects files and support documents.
-Update and maintain projects; participant database including data entry.
-Travel to various parts the West Bank and East Jerusalem as instructed for activities support and follow up.
Knowledge and Experience
-Relevant work experience, preferably in NGOs or youth related projects.
-Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
-Understanding of the social, political, and economic context of the West Bank and East Jerusalem, and a talent for communications with different stakeholders.
