You are invited to register in the GoTech Initiative to train school students on practical experiments in technology, targeting the students from 6th grade till Tawjihi.
The program aims to build students base knowledge in electronics and modern technology, providing them with technical skills that explain many electronic and technological phenomena around them and mechanics of their occurrence. Also it provides range of skills enabling students to build practical models of these phenomena, including activities related to technology curriculum, the initiative monitors its development closely to be part of its training programs.
Moreover, it seeks to provide our creative students with the technical skills they’re always seeking to implement. The program provides them with necessary technical skills for these initial ideas and projects.
It provides students with the training material through station system shown in the table below. Each station provides specialized content related to IT curriculum:
Station Description |
Station Name |
---|---|
This station provides theoretical background for all elements of analogue electronics (resistance, capacitors, semiconductors such as diodes, transistors, etc.) and their work principle, as well as implementing a set of practical exercises that enables the student to apply all relevant technology exercises (Rain detection circuit, etc.) as well as enrichment exercises. |
Analogue Electronics Station |
This station provides theoretical background for all digital electronics elements (logical gates, integrated circuits such as counters, timers, etc.) and their work principle, along with implementing few practical exercises that enables the student to apply all the relevant tech exercises (Traffic Light circuit, etc.) as well as enrichment exercises. |
Digital Electronics Station |
This station provides theoretical background to deal with Arduino board and programs writing with Arduino language, also implement several practical exercises that ends up preparing the student to apply all the relevant tech exercises (such as robot trackers, etc.) as well as enrichment exercises. |
Arduino Station |
This station provides theoretical background to deal with Android applications using an app inventor friendly environment, also implementing several practical exercises that ends up preparing the student to apply all relevant tech exercises (such as controlling robot with a phone, etc.) as well as enrichment exercises. |
