Announcement: Start of Accepting Applications for Admission for Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture In Collaboration With The Academy of Fine Arts of Verona – Italy for Fall Semester of Academic Year 2019/2020

The Deanship of Admission and Registration at Arab American University announces the start of receiving applications for admission for bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture In Collaboration With The Academy of Fine Arts of Verona – Italy for Fall semester academic year 2019/2020 from Sunday, 15/09/2019 until Saturday, 02/11/2019.

The Interior Architecture BA student will have the opportunity to travel to the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona – Italy for their Internship.

Students will learn:

  1. To preserve and restore old buildings   
  2. To build code and safety for different buildings
  3. To build physical and virtual (computer-based) models
  4. To Draw plans of your one’s designs
  5. Architectural and design styles and history

 

Career Opportunities:
Interior Architects have a variety of career options open to them. Students who complete their BA degree can steer their careers in different directions, including:

  1. Working as a design expert for architecture and interior design firms or multidisciplinary studios specializing in space design, landscape design, window displays, product design, stage design, or home, retail and urban furnishing.
  2. Becoming a designer for events, pop-up architecture, museum installations, fashion shows, exhibitions, stands, experiences, audiovisual communication, identity design or art director.
  3. Collaborating with design studios in every specialty and working on a team during the concept application stage, development and management of space design projects.
  4. Working in multidisciplinary teams to carry out permanent or pop-up residential and retail interior design projects under public or private initiatives.

 

Admission Requirements:

  1. The applicant must hold a high school certificate or an equivalent certificate (All Branches).
  2. The applicant must have a minimum high school average of 70%.

Arab American University (AAUP) Campus - Ramallah

 

Admission Application Instructions:

  1. Submission of admission applications will begin on Sunday, 15 September 2019.
  2. The Admission Card can be obtained for a bachelor's degree and Diploma in Education for Upper Basic Level through:
    • Financial Department at the main campus of the University in Jenin.
    • Ramallah Campus –  AL-Rehan.
    • University Office in Nazareth.
    • University Office in Rahat.
    • The following banks in all its branches:

      Arab Islamic Bank

      Palestine Investment Bank

      ​Palestine Islamic Bank

      Housing Bank For Trade and Finance

      Arab Bank

      Cairo Amman Bank

      National Bank Bank of Palestine Ltd.
      Quds Bank Safa Bank

    • Admission application fees is $100 USD non-refundable.
       

  3. Fill out the online application form that’s available at (www.aaup.edu/apply) And enter all the required fields.
  4. While filling out the application, you can save it and return later for amendments and send it.
  5. Applicant should go then to the Deanship of Admissions and Registration at the university main campus in Jenin for submitting the original documents.
  6. The application is studied by a specialized committee, this process takes time to study each application and some specialization are immediately replied to.
  7. When the application is complete and all requirements have been achieved the student will receive the final acceptance letter.
  8. The student should pay for the seat reservation fees at any of our certified banks then get the seat reservation letter by Email or from the Deanship of Admission and Registration. Which contains login information required for the Edugate Portal and other additional information.
  9. The student should then go the deanship of admission in main campus in Jenin to issue the "Student Card" and must submit the seat reservation letter.

Required Documents: (Original and legalized copies of the documents below must be submitted in order to secure full admission)

  1. Fill out AAUP online Application.
  2. Transcript of high school diploma certified / or its equivalent by the Palestinian Ministry of Education. And for Bagrut Students, Original Bagrut diploma (Taodat Bagrut / תעודת בגרות) and translated to English or Arabic as duly authorized by the notary public.
  3. National Identity Card (local applicants) or passport (international applicants)
  4. Original birth certificate or a copy duly certified. (local applicants)
  5. Two Personal photos, and 4 recent photos for applicants for Doctor of Medicine program – University of Jordan.
  6. Stress Examination (only applicants for Sport Sciences program).

 

Remarks:

  1. The deadline to apply for admission to the specialties in which seats are still available, is Saturday, 02/11/2019.
  2. Submitting the application form does not -necessarily- guarantee admission.
  3. Please keep Admission Card until you get the final acceptance.
