In cooperation with PIPD the Deanship of Student Affairs organized a training workshop about the United Nations Program for Palestinian Universities that targets student universities to teach them diplomatic skills and train them. Also to show them the way and protocol for representing Palestine on international levels, through international laws and human rights conventions, where they were trained by the program director Mrs. Najwan Brikdar.
The workshop was opened by the Deanship of Student Affairs Ms. Juanna Al-Hafy, who assured the importance of the training workshop, Which adds to the students information and the general culture, and training them on the mechanism of dialogues to represent Palestine abroad, in addition to developing the skills of students and refining their personality and enhance their public culture, noting that Arab American University, as a part of its policy it focuses on extracurricular activities for students and provides them with the necessary tools for the educational and practical life, especially when they are involved in the labor market.
The program director Mrs. Najwan Brikdar said This workshop is part of many workshops conducted by the PIPD in five Palestinian universities, AAUP, Al-Najah, Birzeit, Bethlehem and Al-Quds Abu Dis. She explained that during the program, which will continue until the end of this year, political and diplomatic figures and decision-makers will be hosted to convey their experiences with the students, noting that the program provides students with the knowledge and skills to help them represent Palestine internationally through training on diplomacy, international law and human rights.
