The delegation consisted of Maureen Marroum Bajali- Cultural Affairs Specialist for Exchanges and Gina Cabrera- Farraj -Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer. They met Dr. Yousef Asfour – the Chairman of the Board of Directors along with Prof. Waleed Deeb – the Academic Advisor to the Board and Dr. Abdel-Rahman Abu-Labdeh- the Dean of the Graduate Studies.
The visiting delegation introduced number of programs offered by the USA government that aims at helping faculty members develop their skills and knowledge and helps academic institutions improve their academic programs.
The University team gave a brief description of the academic programs it offers in general, and the graduate programs that are offered jointly with USA institutions in particular. Both parties discussed potential support of the consulate in the field of academic exchange concerning the Conflict Resolution and the Strategic Planning Masters Programs, through providing teaching staff from the USA to teach courses. The delegation was impressed by the university progress.
