A German delegation representing the political direction in boycotting Stuttgart, Germany visited Arab American University to build bilateral cooperation between the two parties. The Delegation was welcomed by the VP of Training Affairs Dr. Nizam Dhiab and Prof.Ayman Yousef.
Dr. Dhiab welcomed the guest and gave them a brief explanation about the university, its establishment and its academic programs in all levels doctorate, master's and bachelor's degrees, as he mentioned the importance of developing partnerships and cooperation with various institutions locally or on international levels as part of the university’s vision and goals.
As he added that the establishment of the university's main campus in Jenin has had a positive impact on the province in social and economic levels, where the university focuses on three main objectives, academic development, scientific research, and community service. Furthermore, the university has contributed various projects such as sports facilities, medical, health and treatment centers, where the local community can also benefit from.
The German delegation expressed its great admiration and praised AAUP and what it provides from humanitarian and medical services to the students and the local community, assuring that the university is among the leading universities they have visited in the Middle East, expressing their readiness to develop relations with the university.
At the end of the visit, the delegation took a tour around the university, its facilities and centers.
