The vice-president office for Planning and Development at the Arab American University organized a workshop about Zamala program that offers scholarships at different European and American universities. Mr. Abdallah AbuKishik- the coordinator for the program was hosted at the university to talk about the scholarship.
The workshop aims to introduce the faculty members, the technicians and the administrative members to Zamala program that is funded by Taáwon Institution and Bank of Palestine, and to encourage them to apply for it.
Dr. Osama Salama- the vice-president for Planning and Development started the workshop by welcoming the guest and mentioning that the university always seeks to develop and improve its staff and faculty members by providing them with the best programs and chances to benefit the university.
Mr. Abdallah AbuKishik- the coordinator for Zamala program appreciated the role that the university does in improving its staff and gave a detailed explanation about the program. He said that this program will help in strengthening the relations between the Arab American University and different international universities. AbuKishik added that the program is three years long and can be extended, and explained the goals of the program, the mechanism to apply, the conditions for acceptance and mentioned the previous experiences at the program.
