The Nursing department is working on establishing the American Cardiac Association Centre

The nursing department at the Arab American University finished the first stage of establishing the American Cardiac Association Centre where faculty members of 11 professors had training about the basic and advanced heart resuscitation processes for the young and the elders
Dr. Mohammad Asia- the head of the nursing department at the Arab American University clarified that the importance behind such training is to graduate people with great skills in heart resuscitation to save the lives of the injuries. Dr. Asia added that this will be the only centre at the north of the West Bank to treat the heart problems and teach how to do heart resuscitation.
Dr. Asia said that the centre will open its doors to all the Palestinian community and will allow doctors, nurses and the civil defence employees to work at the centre and get the right training about the heart resuscitation process. He mentioned that the opening for this centre will be during this year, and will work officially at the beginning of the fall semester of 2016/ 2017. The centre will contain the best medical devices with international standards and the best nursing academics to give the convenient training.
