The olive picking volunteering work

The Arab American University’s students participated at the olive picking at Al-Aqaba village – Tubas as volunteering work in order to provide services to the local community.
Dr. Iyad Dalbah- the assistant to the president for the community affairs said that the reason behind choosing Al-Aqaba village is that lots of its lands are under a threat to be stolen by the occupation forces, and by making students participate with the village people in their work at the lands that will be a simple to indicated that we are standing with them and supporting them against the occupation. Also the course of the community service is very important as it helps students to blend in with the community and provide services to the surrounding areas.
