The Secretary General of the Jordanian Medical Council Visits Arab American University Campus in Ramallah

The guests were welcomed by Dr. Imad Abdul Khaliq the Director of Orthodontic Programs at Arab American University, Dr. Jumana Jaradat Director of the Educational Dental Center, Mr. Khalid Harazallah Director of the Medical Center Laboratories at the University.

Dr. Abdul Khaliq welcomed the delegation and conveyed the greetings of the President of the University Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, and gave a detailed explanation of the university and its establishments. He also presented the academic programs offered by the university and pointed out that the university is based on three objectives, most notably scientific research, as the university is seeking to develop new specialties suitable for the local and regional labor market.

Dr. Jumana Jaradat presented a detailed explanation of the Educational Dental Center and its services to the local community, as well as the education of the dental students, assuring that the university is always striving to develop.

For his part, Director of the Medical Center Laboratories Mr. Khalid Haraz Allah gave a detailed explanation of the laboratories at the University in Ramallah campus and its services that is provided to the local community.

Dr. Nidal Younis Secretary-General of the Jordanian Medical Council, praised the role played by Arab American University especially in the field of scientific research, which is in the interest of the students and the service of the nation. He expressed his great admiration for the university and its services in the local community adding that the University offers a high level of professionalism.

At the end of the visit, the delegation took a tour arround the University of Ramallah campus and met the educational dental center.
