The Student Abed AlRhaman Mohammad Barham from AAUP won in First place in the top first Palestinian competition for challenges that was held in Al-Najah University, he won in DMZ challenge game with PHOENIX team after competing with 123 participant representing Al-Najah, Berzit, Arab American, Al-Quds, Polytechnic, Khadouri Universities.
The student will be qualified to participate in Arab Network Competition for Innovation that will be held at Jordan in 03/10/2019, he will present AAUP and if he is qualified he will receive a training opportunity in Canada.
The competition included nine challenges representing local rankings: DMZ challenge for Startup companies, Al-Nayzak Challenge for Innovative Projects, IMS Challenge for Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Students, Think & Build Challenge for Architecture and Building Students, and Make it Perfect Challenge For computer engineering students, Calgary challenge for nanotechnology, Video puzzle challenge for in Editing, Aramex challenge for computer and industrial engineering students, and Be the solution challenge for pharmacy students.
At the end of the event, the committee, the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Al-Najah University administration, the sponsoring companies, the jury and the winners were all honored. As for Second place the student Ibrahim Saad al-Din from Palestine Technical University won the IMS challenge, while Al-Najah University won the other challenges as following: the Students Ramzi Shadid and Saif al-Din Khrwish in MOZEOVST team from Think & Build Challenge, and Omar Hanoun and Massa Ajaj from High Voltage team from Make it perfect challenge, and the student Amer Abu Jalboush in the Calgary Challenge, Mohammed Salhi in Video puzzle Challenge, the students Mohammed Shammout, Firas Rabayah and Amed Omar from MFA team in the Aramex Challenge.
