The University Got the Master of Health Informatics Accredited

Minster of Higher Education his Excellency Dr. Sabri Saidam handed the accreditation of the Master of Health Informatics, to the Arab American University Chairman Dr. Yousef Asfour.

It happens in presence of; the Arab American University Directors Board Academic Advisor and the University Founding President Dr. Waleed Deeb, Undersecretary of the Ministry Dr. Basri Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Asad Al-Ramlawi, Ehab Al-Qabaj, and President of the National Commission for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Higher Education Institutions Dr. Sami Pasha, during a meeting at the Ministry of Higher Education in Ramallah.

During the meeting, Dr. Saidam hoped that the students will benefit scientifically from this specialization, which will benefit and develop our Palestinian society, and will ensure job opportunities for the specialization graduates.

He pointed to the Ministry's focus on standards that guarantee higher education quality, during examining accreditation requests for academic programs, and make sure not to duplicate programs that don’t meet the local and international labor market needs or the requirements of achieving sustainable development in Palestine.

Dr. Sadeem praised the Arab American University achievements, varied academic programs and graduating scientific competencies. Wishing them and all Palestinian higher education institutions more development and prosperity to serve the Palestinian people and humanity as a whole.

As for Dr. Asfour, he thanked the Minister Saidam and the ministry staff for granting the accreditation of this specialization. Stressing, the Arab American University was founded to serve Palestinians and will continue with its excellence approach. Pointing, the university focuses on offering programs that meet the requirements to achieve sustainable development following in-depth studies to identify the local and regional market needs and consider them when developing any.

Dr. Asfour praised the Ministry of Education efforts in serving the educational sector through distinctive plans and programs aimed to keep Palestine on the map of knowledge and advancing its educational sector to become international in this field.

During the meeting, the two parties discussed several issues serving the higher education sector. Stressing on education quality as the ministry's management basic objective for the education sector.
