Workshop about “the Right to Elect and the Candidacy Age”

The Arab American University organized with collaboration with Muftah Institution a workshop about “the Right to Elect and the Candidacy Age”, in order to raise the awareness of students about the importance of participating in elections.
Dr. Nizam Thiab- the V.P for Community Affairs said that this activity comes to enhance the university’s philosophy in encouraging students to communicate with the local community and provide people with needed services.

Participants of the workshop asserted on the importance of this kind of workshops that plays role in enhancing the patriot concept in student, and the rights and duties that they have.
Ms. Sana’ Badawi talked about her personal experience in Jenin’s municipality elections and how she won.
