Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sharif ABUKARSH presented a research paper entitled “New Technology Adoption by Business Faculty in Teaching: Analyzing Faculty Technology Adoption Patterns”. In the academic year 2016/2017, the Arab American University has allocated the sum of JD 90,000to promote on campus research in all areas. The maximum limit for internal scientific research grants is JD 7000. The deadline for scientific research grant applications for this semester is scheduled for 12/12/2016.
All AAU faculty members are eligible to apply for this grant using the attached electronic application form (MS word: Don’t convert it to PDF, please).
Palestine Engineers Association PEA and in partnership with the Federation of Arab Engineers organize the 1st international conference on climate change, in 2017 that will take place in Al Bireh- Palestine. This international event comes within the framework of the PEA plan towards the development of the engineering work in the interesting themes locally and internationally, through the organization of international conferences dealing with the most prominent issues and challenges facing the Palestinian society.
As it’s the first international event on climate change in Palestine; it is expected to acquire a wide attention from the public and international institutions in Palestine and neighboring Arab countries as well as all over the world.

Grants, up to USD $20,000 will be available to individual Arab researchers whose research focuses primarily on Arab societies. Grants are intended to support a maximum time-line of 18 months.
