The vice-president office for the Community Affairs along with the Faculty of Law organized a workshop for the law students about “the right to learn” under cooperation with the Independent Commission for Human Rights.
The workshop aimed to introduce the International and Palestinian laws that encourage the right to learn in general and especially for students with disabilities.
Shatha AlAhmad- the head of the courses department at the University started the workshop by welcoming the guests and said that the university always cares about making good relations with different institutions to benefit its students and employees.
The Faculty of Law professor Mr. Moahmmad Jaradat asserted on the importance of this workshop as it is concerned about the right to get education for all Palestinians, and he and encouraged students to learn from the experts about the Palestinian rights to learn.
The Head of the Independent Commission for Human Rights office in Jenin, Mr. Mohammad Al Kamamji explained the work that the institution does and talked about the different human rights that are mentioned in the international regulations. He asserted on the importance of the right to learn for all human beings especially the basic school learning.
