Arab American University and The Galilee Society in the 1948 Palestinian Lands discussed ways of collaboration to sign MoU to hold education and health specialized lectures, participate in researches, studies and analyze them, engaging university students and faculty members in making researches, arrange scientific visits, and help master students in selecting thesis for vital studies.

The delegation which included The Galilee Society Director General Mr. Bakr Awawdeh, Director of the Society’s Institute for Applied Research Dr. Grace Gideon, member of the University’s Board of Trustees Mr. Walid Afifi, were welcomed by the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zaidan Abu Zuhri, his VPs for Academic Affairs Dr. Zaki Saleh, Training and Community Service Affairs Dr. Nizam Diab, Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Acting Dean of Scientific Research and Physics Professor at the University Dr. Adly Saleh, and PR Director Mr. Fathi Amor.

The Arab American University welcomed hundreds of the 1948 Palestinian Territories students who hold high school diploma “Bagrut” in the open day it organized to familiarize them with its academic programs and the various disciplines offered in the different faculties.

Today’s events started in the presence of the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, his VPs for Academic Affairs Dr. Zaid Saleh, Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hazem Khanfar and his Assistant Eng. Bara Asfour, Faculty and Administrative Staff at the University and a group of the 1948 Palestinian Territories students and their families.

Faculty of Law

The Faculty of Law at the Arab American University has developed a special course for the 1948 Palestinian lands students’ enrolled in the university, which meets the labor market requirements in terms of the laws and the in force procedures at courts and various departments.​

The Dean of the Faculty Dr. Bashar Daraghmeh, said this path was developing due to the 1948 students’ large and growing demand to study in the faculty and meet their ambitions and future desires. Also facilitate their integration into their residential areas’ labor market.
