Arab American University hosted 2017 Palestinian Consumer Day activities entitled “Smart Consumer and Honest Trader”, organized by her Excellency Minister of National Economy Mrs. Abeer Odeh in presence of the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri.
University speech, AAUP President Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri said “Welcome to the Arab American University that continuously seeks to be integrated and harmonious in its work and philosophy with the Palestinian State institutions. Our message today, "2017 Consumer Protection Day" we must protect Palestinian consumer, take care of its interests, maintain his health, safety and money, support national products, combine efforts with private, government sector and civil society organizations for secure, strong and clean Palestinian economy of any settlement and Israeli goods”.

Arab American University hosted the last day of Orientation days for high school students, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education in partnership with higher education institutions in five directorates.
13 of the West Bank higher education institutions, universities and colleges, participated in the event. Almost 2500 students came from various schools from the five directorates; Jenin, Qabatiya, Tubas, Tulkarm and Qalqilya.

Arab American University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zedan Abu Zuhri …. PLO’sRelations Coordinator with the 1948 Palestinians Mr. Maher Ghonaim, who visited AAUP to give a lecture entitled “Palestinians Reality and Challenges”.
Before the lecture, President of Arab American University Prof.Dr. Abu Zuhri and the guest had a meeting, the president welcomed Mr. Ghonaim giving him detailed explanation to AAUP breakthroughs in academia and scientific research along with developmental and technological projects. Pointing to the university architectural development to become complete University City. Then they took a tour around campus.
