Arab American University and the University of Flensburg Germany signed an agreement for cooperation in research fields in various disciplines, in addition to exchange students, exchange experiences among administrative staff, conferences and joint scientific research.
Students starting from the next academic semester will be able to participate in interactive visits in various disciplines as in engineering, computer and business, cultural exchange and conflict resolution.
As the University also renewed the existing cooperation agreement with the Belgian University of Brussels (VUB) for 4 years, that aims to exchange and transfer technological and administrative knowledge through providing grants to complete doctorate Degree, research cooperation, academic exchange and training opportunities for the doctoral student.
The Vice President of Arab American University Mr. Faleh Abu Arrah and the Minister of National Economy Mrs. Abeer Odeh signed an agreement to support innovation and technology transfer within the framework of cooperation between the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Ministry of National Economy in order to reflect the concept of intellectual property.
Mr. Abu Arrah said, “that Arab American University gives great importance to scientific research, innovation and creativeness, and works to encourage researchers and innovators in all fields. This agreement aims to establish the researcher's right to research, innovate and invent, promote scientific research and create a research environment.
Al Safa Islamic Bank and Arab American University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the Educational and Training Financing Program ("Darajat") in the framework of their efforts to support the educational process and facilitate students' study in Islamic Sharia'a compliant programs.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Nidal Al Barghouthi, General Manager of Al-Safa Bank and Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, representing Arab American University.
The Education and Training Finance program is rated as Sharia-compliant and provides up to 100 percent of the total tuition fees. It allows for monthly payments up to 72 months and gives students the freedom to choose the educational service approved by the bank. In addition, the program is available for all stages of education from school to postgraduate and professional training certificates.
