The Student Rida Abu Shaikhah from Faculty Engineering and Information Technology at AAUP was chosen as the Best Campus Director Globally within the Hult Prize Contest last week.
Rida Abu Shaikhah participated in the contest for this year with team of students, and the team qualified in the contest that was held in London.
Hult Prize is the world's largest student entrepreneurship competition that aims to establish profit companies to face one of the societal challenges and to engage students in creating positive change. In more than 200 universities participate in this competition and is held in more than 150 countries. where the winning team receives an award of 1 ML dollars.
Haseeb Al Sabbagh IT Center for Excellence and HULT Prize team in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and IT at the University organized the first orientation meeting about HULT Prize competition. The team talked about their experience of participating in the international competition, which was held in Paris and London in April and September of this year, in which 120 participants were selected from among a quarter - million students around the world.
The team gave a presentation about the competition for the year 2020 and the registration process. The winner will receive a prize of one million dollars.

The Student Abed AlRhaman Mohammad Barham from AAUP won in First place in the top first Palestinian competition for challenges that was held in Al-Najah University, he won in DMZ challenge game with PHOENIX team after competing with 123 participant representing Al-Najah, Berzit, Arab American, Al-Quds, Polytechnic, Khadouri Universities.
The student will be qualified to participate in Arab Network Competition for Innovation that will be held at Jordan in 03/10/2019, he will present AAUP and if he is qualified he will receive a training opportunity in Canada.
