The Library of the Arab American University represented by its manager Hasan Al-Said participated in the conference of the Arab Federation for Libraries and Information which was held recently in Egypt capital Cairo, titled “Social Networks and its Impact on the Arab World Information Institutions”.
The conference addressed the social networks impact on Arab information institutions; libraries and information centers, the mechanism of benefiting from social networks in this field and marketing libraries in general and university libraries in particular.
Arab American University announced starting to prepare for hosting the fourth International Conference on Smart Digital Heritage, organized by the University in cooperation with the University of Paris 8, starting on the beginning of May this year for three days under the auspices of the French Consulate.
A number of Arab and International academics, researchers and experts from Tunisia, France, Belgium, Brazil, Norway and Greece will participate in the conference. Each will address there specialty in digital heritage and its methods.
Arab American University hosted the International Professor in Nursing Jane Watson to a scientific conference organized by the Faculty of Nursing, entitled “Human care, between Theory and Practice”
Nursing Directors at Palestinian hospitals and First aid centers, Representatives of all nursing faculties at Palestinian Universities and a number of academic staff at AAUP Faculty of Nursing and Medical Careers, all attended the conference.
Pre conference, Professor Watson met Arab American University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri and his Assistant in Financial and Administrative Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, both of them honored her for her humanitarian efforts in Nursing.
