The Arab American University hosted the 3rd sciences conferences entitled “Research Students – Sponsoring & Empowering”, organized by the Directorate of Education at Qabatya to review a number of researches and innovations for schools’ students.
The conference was attended by the Vice President of the University Dr. Nizam Diap representing the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, Director General of Educational Supervision in the Education Ministry Dr. Shahinaz Alfar representing the Minister Dr. Sabri Sidem, Head of the Directorate of Education and Higher Education in Qabatiya Mr. Mohammad Mousa, the conferences preparing committee members, a group of deans of faculties, professors and principals, and participating students in developing the researchers, scientific creations, and their supervising teachers.
Suhaib Mari, a computer science graduate of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University, is participating in the Google conference, held today May 6, 2018 in Mountain View, United States.
Mari has received an invitation to participate in this important conference as a representative of Google Worldwide Groups “GDG” of 500 members.
Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, University President, praised this participation and stressed the university family encouragement and his to Mari, who’s a model for the persevering student and excellence seeker. Wishing more success for him and all the university students, locally and internationally.
The “Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies” Center at the Arab American University started preparing for holding its first annual conference entitled “In the light of local, regional and international changes... Palestine where to?” Which will take place at the university's Ramallah campus, from 22nd – 25th of June.
The conference is a continuation of the previous one which was held at the University's Ramallah campus in April last year and resulted in creating the “Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies” Center. The opening of this center came in harmony with the University's philosophy of positive interaction with national, regional and international issues in light of current developments.
