As part of the social responsibility that Arab American University greatly encourages, the Dentistry Students at the university organized awareness and examination field trips for over 300 school students in the Jordan Valley. Some of the school students needed further treatment and were transferred to continue their free treatment in the clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry.
The Minister of Heath Dr. May Kella, and AAUP President Prof. Ali Zaidan Abu Zuhri open new dental clinics for Faculty of Dentistry at AAUP.
Dr. May Kella and the delegation was welcomed by President Assistant Eng. Bara Asfour, member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Jamal Huwail, VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs Dr. Hassan Yassin, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry Dr. Shukri Killab, and President Assistant for Medical Schools Prof. Mohammad Asia.
Mr. Ayman Odeh Head of the Joint Arab Establishment visits the University to check on students from the Palestinian 1948 Territories those who are specialized in Medical programs, where he was welcomed by Prof. Mohammad Asia President Assistant for Medical School Affairs and Dean of Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences.
Prof. Asia gave an introduction about AAUP and its faculties and medical specializations assuring that the university continuously seeks to develop and create new specializations to meet with the labor market, adding the AAUP also seeks to provide all the necessary for its students.
