Faculty of Graduate Studies at the Arab American University Ramallah Campus hosted the former South African Ambassador to the State of Palestine Mr. Rafique Gangat in a lecture for Conflict Resolution and Development Master Students, to talk about interlocking boundaries between strategic and effective communication on one hand, and conflicts resolution on the other, knowing these two fields are intertwined with each other and with other knowledge fields.

The Ambassador Ghangat was welcomed by the Conflict Resolution and Development lecturer at the Faculty of Graduate Studies Dr. Ayman Yousef and Administrative Director of Ramallah Campus Mr. Mohammad Saba’na.

The lecture was attended by the conflict resolution and development program students who interacted with great passion as the lecturer used interactive tools, brainstorming and humor to manage the lecture, which had a great impact in making a change in them, conceptually and theoretically as all these theoretical methods were linked to the Palestinian case reality.

Arab American University Faculty of Arts hosted the Chairman of Palestinian Prisoner's Club Qadura Faris in a lecture he gave on prisoners’ conditions and stability for the prisoner movement course students.

Faculty of Arts Dean Prof. Dr. Mohammad Dawabsheh started the lecture, introducing Faris’s life path in defending prisoners’ issues and expose the occupation practices against them.

At first, Faris praised the Arab American University, stressing it confirmed the Palestinian ability to build homeland for all and create bright future for people who sacrificed for decades. He spoke about the university's experience importance and spread its build and model determination homeland institutions.

In cooperation with Tamer Organization for Social Affairs

Arab American University in collaboration with Tamer Organization for Community Affairs organized a seminar on performing arts role in human construction - El-Funoun Dance Troupe to introduce the public and those interested in how El-Funoun Troupe succeeded in building human and Palestinian society.

Tamer’s Foundation representative Ahmad Amarneh started the lecture, thanking AAUP for organizing it. AAUP Lecturer at Arabic Language and Media department Mr. Said Abu Malla stressed on performing arts importance in conveying human message, pointing to this lecture importance and knowing El-Funoun Dance Troupe. Explaining, performing arts can’t be isolated from our heritage, it’s related to development. Pointing, AAUP is really interested in artistic aspects that promotes Palestinian identity and heritage.
