The University organized a meeting in Ramallah Campus for Health Informatics Master Students about electronic health data, as part of the University's efforts to raise awareness and guide its students to the priorities of health information research required in Palestine.
The meeting was presented by the Health Systems director at the World Health Organization, Mr. Mohamed Bani Odeh, who presented for the students the sources of the electronic health data and focused on its importance and analysis to strengthen and support academic research.
Dr. Shahinaz Al-Najjar, a faculty member in the program and coordinator of the meeting, assured the importance of these researchs to improve the health situation in these new and unique topics.
The researcher, Ola Walid Ahmed Adawi, a student of strategic planning in the Faculty of Graduate Studies at the University Ramallah Campus, discussed her thesis entitled (The impact of the National Development Plan from 2014 till 2016 on the economic empowerment of the Palestinian women).
In her study, the researcher focused on the economic empowerment interventions of the institutions that represent the national sectors that are related to the economic empowerment of women and addressed the women who benefit from the implementation of the plans in the community.
The University celebrated the graduation of MA students in conflict resolution and development program, literature and intercultural communication, quality management, strategic planning and fundraising, computer science and commercial law at the University in Ramallah campus. Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, Dr. Mohammad Ashteh attended the ceremony along with the President of the University Prof. Ali Abu Zuhri, and The Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate Dr.
