While honoring the participants: An announcement for accrediting practical education program locally and internationally at the university

Arab American University organized a ceremony honoring the participants of the practical education program from the directorates of education in Jenin, Qabatiya and Tubas, implemented by the university in cooperation with the Ministry of Education funded from the World Bank.

During the ceremony, an announcement for accrediting practical education program locally and internationally by a committee of international experts.

The ceremony was opened by Vice President of Training Affairs Dr. Nizam Diab, who welcomed the attendees and assured the importance of this program which connects practical training with theoretical teaching and has a significant impact on the development of academic skills.

The representative of the Ministry of Education mentioned the end of the challenges of the program since its launch 10 years ago, thanking Arab American University in contributing in the success of the program.

The Student Affairs and Scientific Research Dept. at the University organized a workshop about "university student researcher competition". Which was launched by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in its second edition. The Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the University hosted the 13th National Championship for Educational Robotics in Palestine, "First Lego" organized by Fiker institution entitle "Space", in which 30 teams of students participated from the Directorates of Education in the northern West Bank

The First Lego World Robotics Competition is a global scientific competition held in more than 88 countries in the world, and all teams deal with the same title and operate on the same standards. It is also one of the most exciting and fast-paced competitions. It is a combination of education and creativity, on the other hand it is designed for the age group of 9 years and up to 16 years old of school students, each team consists of "2 - 10" students in addition to the coach and supervisor.
