The Palestinian museum field trip

Students of the Interior Architecture program in AAUP that is offered as a collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of Verona – Italy, organized a field trip to the Palestinian museum with their Professor Christien Aloush Hadeed as part of their practical project in the course of Design Elements.

This field trip will help the Interior Architecture students in understanding the infrastructure of the Palestinian culture along with understanding the Palestinian art.

Eng. Rinad Shqairat, who teaches the Design Elements course at AAUP, suggested such a field trip to implement the knowledge that students got through their theoretical study. Students had the chance to know some of the Artists, who were part of the museum, the materials they used and the elements and techniques of their arts.

AAUP and Arab Islamic Bank Finished a Training Course About Pioneers in Islamic Banking

The Deanship of Student Affairs at AAUP and Arab Islamic Bank, graduated 33 students from specializations of the faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, after finishing the training course entitled "Pioneers in Islamic Banking".

The training course included several topics in commercial banking and in Islamic banking in particular, and created a closer picture of practical experience and academic theory, worked on enhancing student’s skills. The training was presented by Arab Islamic Bank directors who have years’ experience in banking. the course was for one month, 36 training hours.

The Student Rida Abu Shaikhah

The Student Rida Abu Shaikhah from Faculty Engineering and Information Technology at AAUP was chosen as the Best Campus Director Globally within the Hult Prize Contest last week.

Rida Abu Shaikhah participated in the contest for this year with team of students, and the team qualified in the contest that was held in London.

Hult Prize is the world's largest student entrepreneurship competition that aims to establish profit companies to face one of the societal challenges and to engage students in creating positive change. In more than 200 universities participate in this competition and is held in more than 150 countries. where the winning team receives an award of 1 ML dollars.
