Mrs. Rola Shahwan Direct Manager of “The Policy and Conflict Resolutions Studies Center” in AAUJ has declared that the Center has been granted a full donation of “Erasmus +”. Where about 874 projects in the Middle East and Europe are competing for this endowment and 64 projects on the Palestinian level. The project proposed by the Center under the title of: “Encouraging Scientific Research and enhancing the abilities in Policy and Conflict Resolution Studies” was selected.

This award is granted within “Erasmus +” programs recognized by the European Commission for Education, Youth, and Sports for the period 2014 till 2020,  recently Collaboration programs have been adopted between the EU countries and other different countries worldwide.

During announcing the recommendations of the annual conference "Palaestine Where To?"

The Centre for Policy and Conflict resolution studies at the Arab American University concluded its first annual conference under the title “In the light of local, regional and international variables: Palestine Where To?” held at the university campus in Ramallah for three days with the participation of experts, politicians, and academics both local and international.

The participants came up with seversal recommendations that allows Palestine to deal with the local, regional, and international variables

 

The inside forces

Many speakers and participants were convinced that the internal division and its impact on Gazans’ economic situation adversely affect the peoples and nations support for Palestine and opens the way for deals such as the “the century deal”.
