AAUP organized an open day for students of the 48 territories holding “Bigarut” certificates, to introduce them to the academic programs of the university. With the attendance of VP, their assistants, deans, and faculty and administrative members.
He pointed out that the university aims to help students to plan for their next stage in their scientific journey and use the energies to make the right decision, explaining that today is an opportunity for students to see what the university offers from programs and benefit from the guidance staff to facilitate the task of choosing their study.
He ended his speech by saying that success is the achievement of professional science on one hand and build the personality, leadership and communication skills on the other hand.
The Arab American University welcomed hundreds of the 1948 Palestinian Territories students who hold high school diploma “Bagrut” in the open day it organized to familiarize them with its academic programs and the various disciplines offered in the different faculties.
Today’s events started in the presence of the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, his VPs for Academic Affairs Dr. Zaid Saleh, Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, Dean of Admission and Registration Dr. Hazem Khanfar and his Assistant Eng. Bara Asfour, Faculty and Administrative Staff at the University and a group of the 1948 Palestinian Territories students and their families.
Arab American University organized an open day for the 1948 lands students holding Bagrut certificate to introduce them to the academic programs, specializations offered by AAU, hundreds of the students came along with their families.
Activities started with the National Palestinian Anthem, reading some Quran, solidarity stand with prisoners in their dignity strike. Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Abdallah Wolwel gave the opening speech, representing the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, expressing his appreciation for university administration efforts which pays great attention to guide students to choose their university majors by looking at what the university provides.
