AAUP organized an open day for students of the 48 territories holding “Bigarut” certificates, to introduce them to the academic programs of the university. With the attendance of VP, their assistants, deans, and faculty and administrative members.
The event started with the national anthem and Al-Fateha on the memory of the souls of the martyrs. Then Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Zaki Saleh, representing the President of the University Prof. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri, welcomed the students, and assured the role of the University’s administration in guiding its new students and introducing them to the university’s specialties to help them choose the best program for them.
He pointed out that the university aims to help students to plan for their next stage in their scientific journey and use the energies to make the right decision, explaining that today is an opportunity for students to see what the university offers from programs and benefit from the guidance staff to facilitate the task of choosing their study.
He ended his speech by saying that success is the achievement of professional science on one hand and build the personality, leadership and communication skills on the other hand.
Mr. Bara Asfour Deans Assistant of Admission and Registration, also talked about the programs offered at the university, registration progress, the laws and regulations of the university.
Director of the university's office in Nazareth Mr. Rabia’ Fahum, said that the university has enhance the student’s life of the 48 territories from traveling to other countries in order to study in Arab and European universities, pointing out that all the specialties offered by the university are recognized in all institutions, both at home and abroad.
From PR dept, Mr. Mahmoud Abu Farha presented the official social media sites for the university and the importance of following the lasted updates and news. In addition of AAUP official websites.
After that the students and their families took a tour around the booths of each faculty and where given and introductory of each program and their inquiries and questions where all answered.
The event included artistic shows presented by AAUP Dabka and Folklore events, in addition to heritage shows and other entertainments.
