Master's Program in Strategic Planning and Fundraising at the Arab American University in Ramallah hosted Dr. Gary Mason, from Northern Ireland a lecturer at the Kennedy Institute for Conflict and Peace Studies at University of Monmouth, Ireland, in a lecture for Dr. Dalal Erekat students.
In his lecture, Dr. Mason discussed his experience in the negotiations between Northern Ireland and Britain until the Good Friday Agreement between the parties in 1998.
Dr. Erekat pointed that this lecture comes within the university direction to rely on practical experiences to understand the theory. Erekat noted that the strategic negotiation course aims to provide students and researchers with modern negotiation skills and strategies, based on studying individual and international political and economic situations to enrich it with practical experiences of international benefit acquiring skills and benefiting from different negotiating experiences.
