The Faculty of IT and Engineering at AAUP organizes Technology & Engineering Day- The 10th, which aims to present students achievements and projects inform of specialized institutions and companies in IT & Engineering sector, to enhance competition among students.
The activities started with an opening ceremony, attended by VP of Training Affairs Dr. Nizam Dhiab and Under-Secretary of the Minister of Communications and IT Eng. Jamil Zagharneh, Deputy Governor of Jenin Kamal Abu-AlRub, Head of Engineers Union Eng. Samir Rimawi and Dean of Faculty of IT and Engineering Dr. Mohammad Hamarsheh.
Launching the event of Multimedia Week the 10th at the University organized by the Department of Multimedia Technology at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, where the students presented their achievements, as it also organizes seminars, workshops, and competitions.
The VP for Planning and Quality Affairs Dr. Sabha, said that the events of the Multimedia Week reflected the distinguish teaching of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, and will witness the graduate students' ability to apply the theoretical lectures through their achievements and projects. As he assured the importance of creativity and excellence whether during studying or in the labor market.
The University in cooperation with the Ministry of Education & Higher Education, a Guidance day for “Al-Injaz” high school students, with the participation of 20 high educational institutions of Universities and colleges, and more than 3000 students from different schools from the directorates of education in Jenin, Tubas and Qabatiya.
The Guidance Day which was held at the sports hall in the university, was part of a meeting series organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in eight Palestinian governorates. The aim of this day is to introduce high school students to the specializations available in educational institutions and to help them choose the university and the appropriate specialization that suits their needs and the market needs.
